acarda is a dynamic and growing company in the emerging RegTech sector. RegTech is a domain of FinTech and stands for Regulatory Technology; it encompasses areas such as data management, complex calculations and the production and distribution of regulatory reports and documents for the financial industry.
Our innovative technology solutions – specifically our multifunctional arep SaaS platform – have set a recognised industry standard. We work continuously to anticipate the future of our industry and to shape regulatory developments.
In our offices in Frankfurt, London and Luxembourg, our international team supports over 60 clients including the likes of BNP Paribas Securities Services, Societe Generale, Union Investment and Franklin Templeton. Our client base continues to grow despite the unprecedented challenges the macro environment is currently facing.
Sound interesting? Let’s talk.
If you ask our employees, “Why acarda?”,you will hear a multitude of responses. Their reasons for working at acarda are as diverse as their personalities:
passionate about technology, interested in finance, working for a nimble organisation, great work-life balance, flexibility around working-from-home arrangements, inspirational teamwork, friendly colleagues, a multicultural environment, flat hierarchies, talent development and career progression are just some of the things you may hear.
What motivates the entire team is the opportunity to make an impact in many different areas, ranging from the technology of tomorrow to our company culture, which is rooted in promoting cultural diversity.
What we look for in individuals: ambition, a self-starter mentality and plenty of positive energy – as well as previous experience in consulting or technology.
Does this describe you? If so, then perhaps you will find your perfect role in our open vacancies.
Our agile approach to working applies to designing employee benefits, too. This means that, while things may be going well, we still strive to work towards improving life at acarda more and more. The following points, then, are both our “status quo” and our “work in permanent progress”:
This is how we introduce you to acarda, the team and the company processes. As part of this you will be assigned your own “company mentor”to show you the ropes.
Co-creater from day 1:
At acarda you are encouraged to bring your ideas to the table from the word “go”. Innovative and solution-oriented thinking beats seniority and hierarchy here.
Advancement, development, career opportunities:
We offer our employees many opportunities to develop professional and personal competencies; for example, by participating at seminars and industry events. Regular reviews, promoting talent and good vertical mobility are part of the company culture at acarda.
The meritocratic compensation at acarda is competitive in comparison to similar or significantly larger organisations. With us, employment contracts are generally open-ended.
We are passionate about delivering successful high-tech projects and yet ensuring our individuals do not burn out. Flexible working hours and working-from-home arrangements are common practice.
Openness and appreciation:
At acarda we have colleagues from all over the world. To ensure we all understand each other we speak one language, which is rooted in fairness and openness.
The only routine at acarda is that nothing is routine. You might find in one project that an IT expert is called upon to act as a consultant. When they go on to perform their next task they are now a consultant with IT expertise.
Team events, company trips, free language classes, central office locations, a Job ticket, a subsidised gym membership and discounts on meals out, fresh fruit delivered daily, office roof terrace — just to mention a few.
To give you a clearer picture of our culture we have put together some expert voices – the personal experiences of our colleagues:
“I can always speak openly with all my colleagues without having to worry about politics or heirachies. That freedom is very important to me.”
Juliette Yang, Senior Consultant Product Management
“Teamwork, culture diversity, work life balance, healthy working environment are what I like the best while working here.”.
Hoang Nguyen, Team Lead and System Architect
